Director, Market Access EMEA
About The Position
The Director of Market Access will lead the development and execution of EMEA market access and reimbursement to ensure broad and sustainable access to the company’s innovative medical technologies.
This person will be responsible for engaging with payers, health technology assessment (HTA) bodies, policymakers, and key stakeholders in the region to shape the external environment and secure optimal market access globally.
What you will be doing:
· Work with the Global Head to further develop and implement Insightec’s EMEA Market Access Plan for current and upcoming indications.
· Develop and implement robust national and local pricing and reimbursement action plans across the region, in collaboration with other functions, including commercial, medical affairs and regulatory affairs.
· Lead, review, and approve all Health Technology Assessment (HTA) / pricing and reimbursement submissions, in line with global strategy and best methodological practice in relevant EMEA countries with a focus on Eastern European countries.
· Develop a robust payer network to map external payer environment and communicate relevant information to internal stakeholders and senior management regarding key markets' current and future reimbursement landscape.
· Collaborate with consultants, key opinion leaders, and clinical societies to secure coalitions in support of market access strategies and the Insightec government affairs function where relevant
· Contribute to public relations, regulatory and clinical development plans in line with patient access goals and objectives.
Requirements
· A minimum of 10 years of experience in medical device or pharmaceutical reimbursement and health policy, ideally in several countries
· Good understanding of health economics
· Experience working with KOLs, governments, public bodies, and private payers.
· Apply business and corporate ethical standards.
· Perform due diligence; assess and interpret HTA and pricing and reimbursement requirements and their impact.
· Understanding of national and local health care policies.
· Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
· Communicate effectively verbally and in writing (English).
· Minimum M.Sc. or M.A. degree in a scientific or technical discipline.
· Willingness to Extensive travels (at least 60%)
